Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is included in the price?
All our caravans include fresh bedding, bathroom towels, tea/coffee/sugar, tea towel, washing up liquid, toilet roll and try to make sure the caravan is warm before your arrival. We aim for the caravan to be ready for you to just arrive and relax, pop the kettle on and have a cuppa without you having to make beds on arrival.
Travel cot & highchair or booster seat also available on request.

2.What about Entertainment and Internet?
Entertainment passes are not included but can be purchased from reception between 9am and 5pm for only £5 each for the duration of your stay to include all site entertainment.
Wifi is free to access in the clubhouse/restaurant on site or can be paid for by hour/day/week via WifiSpark in the caravan.

3. How do we collect the keys?
As all of our caravans are privately owned and rented by the individual owners the caravan park/reception will have no record of your booking. When you book you will be given directions to the parking area for each caravan and a key code to collect keys at a time that suits you so there is no pressure on your journey. If you prefer we can also meet you at a pre arranged time to show you to the caravan and ensure you are happy with the boiler, cooker etc

4. Why is check in not until after 3pm?
Please be aware that we make bookings per 'night'. Our caravans are becoming so popular that we often make bookings back to back during their availability. This means that the previous guests may have only left at 10am on the day you arrive. Sadly not all guests leave the caravans in a presentable condition, but you can be assured that we have a meticulous cleaning regime to ensure you will arrive to a clean, comfortable and well maintained caravan in the afternoon.

5. Can I bring my dog?
Most of our caravan owners accept dogs as our guests too. We consider ourselves 'dog friendly' and have fantastic beaches, country parks and woods for them to explore from the doorstep. We do however ask that you respect the furniture as pets do increase wear and tear on the upholstery, we ask that you bring their own beds to sleep in and spare towels. Dogs must be kept onlead on the caravan site and poop must be picked up. Not all of our guests appreciate pets so to ensure that the caravan is meticulously cleaned we do charge a £20 'defurminator fee' to ensure that there is no fur left for our future guests.

6. How far is it to the beach and other facilities?
The caravan Park is located on Pett Level road. Winchelsea Beach is a short walk across the road and a small recreation ground which encompasses another play park. Perfectly walkable distance even for the younger children and flat ground for bikes and scooters.
There is a well stocked co-op shop just outside the main gate as well as a local pub and a delicatessen and restaurant/bar 5mins walk down the road. There is also a local mobile fish and chip van which stops outside the main gate on a friday evening and also saturday afternoons during the summer.
Rye town is approx 8minutes by car, Camber sands approx 15minutes and Hastings approx 15minutes in the opposite direction.

7. Can I park next to the caravan?

The caravan park is a family park so many caravans are surrounded by safe communal grass for families to use rather than surrounded by cars and parking.
Please respect that there is no driving/parking on the grass.
There are 3 main parking areas, all of our caravans are very near to the parking areas and should cause you any access problems even with your luggage. Some have private roadway parking at the end of the caravan and one of our caravans does have a designated parking space next to the caravan. Please ask us if you specifically need parking next to your caravan.
